Recently the PD made a flying leap into the 1990's, by getting online and a web site. Back in May the department got a new computer system. Previously all traffic was logged on paper.Our Department
The Roodhouse Police Department has 5 full-time officers, 5 part-time officers, 5 dispatchers, and 2 emergency dispatchers. The Department is run 24 hours a day , 7 days a week. Check out our department.
Haunted House

Ok. Rood - House. Rood - noun. a cross or crucifix symbolizing the cross on which Jesus Christ died. But the town was named after a guy named Roodhouse.
